Opportunity Strikes

The song is finally at a level that I'm happy to release, so I'll be looking at several different avenues related to the music industry to release it on. Avenues of Release:

Soundcloud.com is one of the best ways an up and coming artist can put their stuff online, it's also a great opportunity to host any projects an engineer might work on. The website gives you 200 free minutes of uploads before upgrading, so it allows new up and coming artists to host their music online. Youtube.com has kickstarted many careers in music, I will be uploading to youtube as well to give a better platform for videos. Youtube is harder to gain recognition from nothing but can be seamlessly integrated to various other websites.

Radioairplay.com Gives artists a chance to air their songs on the radio across the globe, and even without paying a cent they will give 10 plays, defining a genre and world wide target audience this will put our names out there.

Facebook.com Used more as a promotional tool, I will be advertising my product through my professional page on facebook, this is a smaller audience however I hope to build upon it.

Audience: My target audience by hosting on these sites is anyone who's looking for something new, the songs will appear on the new pages and in the case of radio airplay will actually get played on small radio stations around the world. In a more direct sense my target audience will be lovers of hip hop or rap. Really I hope to gain recognition by putting my name out there.
